Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including in-depth variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance tracking against established benchmarks.
- Design, develop, and meticulously maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, critical business cases, and informed investment decisions.
- Actively assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly financial forecasts, and long-range strategic financial plans.
- Generate accurate and comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management, effectively highlighting key insights and actionable recommendations.
- Proactively monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, promptly identifying potential risks and emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate effectively with various cross-functional business units to gather essential financial data and gain a deep understanding of key business drivers.
- Ensure strict compliance with all internal financial policies, established procedures, and relevant external regulatory requirements.
- Contribute significantly to continuous process improvement initiatives within the finance function to enhance overall efficiency, accuracy, and reporting capabilities.
- Participate in diverse ad-hoc financial projects and special analyses as required by business needs.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or a related analytical role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial functions, data visualization).
- Solid understanding of financial statements, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), and proven financial modeling techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial information clearly, concisely, and persuasively, both verbally and in written reports.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively as part of a high-performing team in a dynamic environment.
