Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer issues, troubleshooting problems, and offering effective solutions related to banking products and services (e.g., accounts, credit cards, loans).
  • Educate customers on various Citigroup products and services, identifying opportunities to enhance their banking experience.
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and resolutions in the CRM system, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to escalate complex issues and ensure a seamless resolution process for the customer.
  • Adhere to all security and confidentiality protocols to protect customer information and maintain compliance with financial regulations.
  • Proactively identify and suggest improvements to customer service processes and tools to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay updated on product knowledge, system enhancements, and industry best practices.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or client-facing role.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a clear, professional, and empathetic tone.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in navigating computer systems and comfort with standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and a positive, can-do attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
