Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in a structured 12-24 month graduate development program, rotating through key departments such as Operations, Engineering, Finance, HR, or Supply Chain, as assigned.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects and initiatives, applying academic knowledge to solve practical business challenges.
  • Shadow and learn from experienced professionals and mentors, gaining insights into industry best practices and operational excellence.
  • Complete all assigned training modules, workshops, and certifications, demonstrating continuous learning and development.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and analyses to support departmental objectives and decision-making processes.
  • Adhere strictly to Chevron's safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and ethical standards at all times.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, seeking feedback and actively participating in performance reviews.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members across different disciplines and contribute positively to team goals.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and innovation, proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree (minimum Second Class Upper) in Engineering (Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical), Geosciences, Computer Science, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Letter is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • High level of integrity, ethical conduct, and personal accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous internship or industrial attachment experience in the oil and gas industry.
