Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Assist residents with feeding, toileting, and other activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Monitor and observe residents' health status, reporting any changes in condition to the nursing staff promptly.
- Document care provided and observations accurately in residents' health records.
- Assist with ambulation, transfers, and positioning of residents to ensure comfort and prevent complications.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide companionship.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, infection control policies, and facility procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to support resident care plans.
Required Skills
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
