As a member of our Catering Staff, you will provide comprehensive support for our varied food service operations, which encompass everything from daily restaurant service to special events, banquets, and private functions held both on-site and at various picturesque locations around Port Morant and the wider Morant Bay area. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic food preparation, plating, and presentation under the guidance of kitchen staff.
  • Set up event spaces, dining areas, and buffet lines according to event specifications and service standards.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
  • Anticipate and respond to guest needs and requests promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, kitchen sections, and service stations throughout shifts.
  • Handle food safely, adhering to all hygiene and sanitation regulations.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating food and beverage supplies.
  • Perform post-event clean-up, dishwashing, waste disposal, and equipment storage.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen, serving, and event coordination teams to ensure seamless service.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding guest service, safety, and operational efficiency.

  • Previous experience (at least 6 months) in catering, hospitality, or food service roles.
  • Valid Food Handler's Permit (Jamaica).

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
