Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and mobile payments according to company procedures.
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Greet customers warmly and ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
- Scan goods, ensure pricing is accurate, and collect payments.
- Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
- Assist with restocking shelves and merchandising when needed.
Required Skills
- Proven working experience as a cashier or in customer service.
- Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g., cash register, POS system).
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
