Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital payments, ensuring correct change is given.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked checkout area.
- Provide exceptional customer service, greeting customers warmly and addressing their queries.
- Assist customers with locating products and provide information about promotions or services.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures, including age verification for restricted products.
- Support colleagues with various store tasks as needed, such as tidying shelves or assisting with deliveries.
- Ensure high standards of store presentation and cleanliness are maintained.
- Manage customer queues effectively to minimise waiting times.
