Key Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and process various payment methods (cash, debit, credit) accurately and efficiently.
- Scan merchandise, ensure correct pricing, and apply discounts or promotions as applicable.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including ensuring adequate supplies are stocked.
- Handle customer returns, exchanges, and resolve minor customer service issues with professionalism.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to age-restricted sales.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping environment.
- Assist with bagging groceries and help customers with carry-out service when needed.
- Maintain product knowledge to assist customers with their shopping needs.
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.
