Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and engage with them in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Accurately process all customer transactions, including cash, debit, credit, and gift card payments.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked checkout area.
  • Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items on the sales floor, and provide information on store promotions.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
  • Assist with basic merchandising tasks, such as product recovery, facing shelves, and ensuring product displays are tidy and appealing.
  • Monitor inventory levels in designated areas and communicate shortages or excesses to relevant departments.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, loss prevention, and customer service standards.
  • Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
