Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and engage with them in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accurately process all customer transactions, including cash, debit, credit, and gift card payments.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked checkout area.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, locate items on the sales floor, and provide information on store promotions.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Assist with basic merchandising tasks, such as product recovery, facing shelves, and ensuring product displays are tidy and appealing.
- Monitor inventory levels in designated areas and communicate shortages or excesses to relevant departments.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, loss prevention, and customer service standards.
- Support fellow team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently and troubleshoot minor issues.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
