Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process all customer transactions including cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment using POS systems.
- Handle cash securely, manage till floats, and ensure daily reconciliation of sales against cash and card receipts.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with product information.
- Process refunds, exchanges, and voids according to company policy and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure checkout area.
- Assist with periodic stocktaking and inventory management as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company cash handling, security, and safety protocols.
- Generate daily financial reports and handover reconciliation documents to supervisors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and customer flow.
