Job Description
We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter with a specialized focus on Site Finishing to join our dynamic and growing construction team in Bunia, Ituri Province. This is a pivotal role that requires an exceptional eye for detail, a deep understanding of advanced carpentry principles, and a proven track record in delivering high-quality interior and exterior finishing work on diverse construction projects. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the aesthetic appeal, structural integrity, and functional excellence of our completed buildings, directly contributing to client satisfaction and our company’s reputation for quality. You will be responsible for a wide array of intricate finishing tasks, including, but not limited to, the precise installation of doors, windows, decorative trims, bespoke cabinetry, various flooring types, and other intricate architectural elements that define the final character of a space.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute precise measurements, cutting, shaping, and assembly of wooden components for various finishing applications.
- Install interior and exterior doors, windows, frames, and associated hardware with meticulous attention to detail.
- Fit and install decorative moldings, architraves, skirting boards, and other trim elements.
- Construct and install custom cabinetry, shelving units, and other built-in furniture.
- Lay down different types of flooring, including hardwood, laminate, and engineered wood.
- Perform general framing for non-load bearing walls, ceiling grids, and partitions as required for finishing.
- Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering strictly to all company safety protocols and construction regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with other trades and project team members to ensure seamless coordination and project progression.
- Identify and rectify any carpentry defects or imperfections to ensure a flawless finish.
- Select and inspect lumber and other materials for quality and suitability for specific applications.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in all aspects of finish carpentry, including trim work, cabinet installation, door/window fitting, and flooring.
- Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of various wood types, materials, and their applications.
