Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies and procedures.
 - Lead, motivate, and coach a team of retail associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
 - Oversee inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and merchandising products to optimize sales.
 - Ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times, handling inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
 - Assist in the training and development of new hires, ensuring they understand their roles and company standards.
 - Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
 - Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising standards.
 - Handle cash management procedures, including deposits and safe reconciliation.
 - Support the Store Manager in various administrative tasks and operational planning.
 - Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
 
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory or leadership role.
 - Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
 - Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
 - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
 - Proficiency in basic computer applications and POS systems.
 - Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field.
 - Experience with inventory management and merchandising best practices.
 - Familiarity with Canadian Tire products and services.
 - First Aid and CPR certification.
