Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Handle various payment methods, including cash, credit/debit cards, and loyalty program redemptions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product location.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area.
- Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Scan items, apply discounts, and issue receipts accurately.
- Promote Canadian Tire loyalty programs and special offers to customers.
- Assist with basic merchandising tasks, such as restocking impulse purchase items near the register.
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to loss prevention and security.

- Basic mathematical aptitude for handling transactions and calculating change.
