Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload mail and parcels from vehicles, conveyors, and sorting equipment.
- Sort mail and parcels according to established procedures and destinations.
- Operate various postal equipment, including scanners and material handling tools, after receiving proper training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) on a regular basis.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
- Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors regarding operational flow and issues.
- Perform repetitive tasks accurately and efficiently throughout shifts.
- Adhere to Canada Post's code of conduct and service standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (22.7 kg) repeatedly and perform physical tasks.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
