Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of various snack items, including washing, chopping, and assembling ingredients under supervision.
- Stock and organize food items, beverages, and supplies in the cafeteria and storage areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation and serving areas, including washing dishes, wiping counters, and sweeping floors.
- Operate basic kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, such as microwaves, toasters, and food warmers.
- Support the serving of snacks during designated times, ensuring efficient and friendly service to students and staff.
- Monitor food temperatures and storage conditions to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and rotating stock.
- Adhere strictly to all GECDSB policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
