Key Responsibilities
- Prepare dining areas for meal service, including setting tables and ensuring cleanliness.
- Serve meals to residents in a timely, friendly, and respectful manner.
- Assist residents with their dining needs, including special requests and dietary accommodations.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain a high standard of hygiene in the dining room and kitchen areas.
- Replenish supplies, such as condiments, beverages, and cutlery.
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with residents and team members to ensure a smooth dining experience.
- Assist with special events and catering as required.
- Maintain a positive, cheerful, and professional demeanor at all times.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs regularly throughout a shift.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality, particularly in a senior living or healthcare setting.
- Valid Food Handler's Certificate.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
