Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and portioning of meals and snacks according to recipes and dietary specifications.
- Set up dining rooms, ensuring tables are clean, properly set, and inviting for residents.
- Serve meals to residents with a friendly and respectful demeanor, assisting with special requests as needed.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, and sanitize all kitchenware, utensils, and dining surfaces.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers, ovens, and food processors.
- Receive, store, and stock food supplies, ensuring proper rotation and inventory management.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP, local health codes).
- Monitor food temperatures to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist residents with meal selection and provide general support in the dining room.
- Communicate effectively with culinary staff, nursing staff, and residents to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Required Skills
