Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to spearhead growth initiatives and generate high-quality leads for the Bob Marley Museum. Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research new business opportunities, target markets, and potential partners to expand the museum’s reach and revenue streams.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for lead generation, including outreach programs, networking events, and digital campaigns.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with tour operators, travel agencies, corporate partners, educational institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches that effectively communicate the value and unique offerings of the Bob Marley Museum.
  • Negotiate and close business deals, ensuring favorable terms and long-term sustainability for both parties.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new growth areas and opportunities for innovation.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and curatorial teams to develop new visitor experiences, products, and services.
  • Track and report on business development activities, pipeline status, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Represent the Bob Marley Museum at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
  • Contribute to the overall strategic planning and growth initiatives of the museum.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (minimum 4 years).
