Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across various departments.
  • Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Translate business needs into clear, concise functional and technical specifications for development teams.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including flowcharts, use cases, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and drive consensus among stakeholders.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support for system implementations.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end-users on new systems and processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
  • Proficiency in requirements gathering methodologies (e.g., interviews, workshops, surveys).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), and reporting platforms.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and software development life cycles (SDLC).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the healthcare industry or with healthcare IT systems.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or CCBA (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
