Key Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering, documenting, and analysing business requirements from various stakeholders.
- Support the mapping of current "as-is" business processes and design future "to-be" processes.
- Contribute to the identification of system and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in workshops and meetings to understand user needs and operational challenges.
- Help create clear and concise documentation, including process flows, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Support the testing and implementation of new solutions and systems.
- Assist in data analysis to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Collaborate with IT teams and departmental staff to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Conduct basic research on best practices and potential technological solutions.
- Provide support for training materials and user guides for new systems or processes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in business analysis.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Previous experience (even voluntary) in a public sector or local government setting is an advantage.
- Understanding of basic database concepts.
