Key Responsibilities

  • Participate actively in a comprehensive training program to learn about telecommunications equipment and services.
  • Assist experienced technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of broadband, voice, and data services at customer locations.
  • Learn to identify and troubleshoot service issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Ensure all installations and repairs adhere to company safety standards and quality guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with customers regarding service appointments and technical explanations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment used, and service calls.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and maintain assigned tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve complex technical issues.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
