Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in a comprehensive training program to learn about telecommunications equipment and services.
- Assist experienced technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of broadband, voice, and data services at customer locations.
- Learn to identify and troubleshoot service issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Ensure all installations and repairs adhere to company safety standards and quality guidelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively with customers regarding service appointments and technical explanations.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment used, and service calls.
- Operate company vehicles safely and maintain assigned tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve complex technical issues.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a customer service role
