Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for the branch, aligning activities with Access Bank’s corporate goals and regional objectives.
  • Drive aggressive business development and sales initiatives to achieve and exceed challenging financial targets across all product lines, including deposits, loans, and digital banking products.
  • Oversee the comprehensive management of the branch's Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, budget allocation, and cost control measures to ensure profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key clients, high-net-worth individuals, and corporate entities within the Aso Rock business community.
  • Ensure the consistent delivery of world-class customer service, addressing client needs promptly and effectively to foster loyalty and advocacy.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment that promotes professional growth and talent retention.
  • Implement and enforce robust risk management practices, internal controls, and strict adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards set by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and other relevant authorities.
  • Monitor local market trends, competitor activities, and economic indicators to identify new business opportunities and adjust branch strategies accordingly.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational efficiency of the branch, ensuring seamless service delivery, optimal resource utilization, and maintaining a secure banking environment.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Access Bank within the local community, participating in relevant business and social events to enhance the bank's profile and foster community relations.
  • Prepare and present periodic performance reports, forecasts, and strategic plans to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives within the branch, promoting the adoption of digital banking channels and solutions among customers.
