Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily production operations, ensuring optimal efficiency, consistent quality, and strict compliance with operational plans and schedules.
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a diverse team of production operators and technicians, fostering a high-performance culture focused on safety and productivity.
  • Strictly enforce and actively promote BP's world-class safety standards, comprehensive policies, and established procedures; conduct regular safety inspections, drills, and toolbox talks.
  • Monitor key production metrics, meticulously analyze operational data, identify critical areas for improvement, and implement timely and effective corrective actions.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with maintenance, logistics, quality control, and engineering teams to ensure an uninterrupted and efficient operational flow.
  • Manage shift schedules, strategically allocate resources, and ensure the optimal utilization of both personnel and advanced equipment.
  • Conduct thorough performance reviews, provide constructive and actionable feedback, and actively support professional growth and career development for all team members.
  • Troubleshoot complex operational issues proactively and implement timely, sustainable solutions to minimize downtime and consistently achieve production targets.
  • Ensure all environmental regulations and stringent compliance standards are met and exceeded within the production facility.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, detailed incident reports, and other relevant operational documentation with precision.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a production or manufacturing supervision role, preferably in the oil & gas, chemicals, or heavy industrial sector.
  • Proven exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and develop a diverse and high-performing workforce.
  • Strong, in-depth understanding of industrial safety protocols, comprehensive environmental regulations, and robust quality management systems.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and decisive decision-making abilities, especially under pressure in critical situations.
  • Proficiency in production planning, meticulous scheduling, and comprehensive operational analysis.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, essential for effective team leadership, clear reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to effectively use relevant production software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial), Operations Management, or a closely related technical field.
