As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end-to-end logistics process, from planning and coordination to execution and monitoring. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
 - Manage transportation logistics, including freight forwarding, scheduling, and route optimization.
 - Oversee inventory levels, warehousing, and storage solutions to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
 - Prepare and process shipping documentation, customs forms, and other necessary paperwork.
 - Track and report on key logistics metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
 - Liaise with suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
 - Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and international shipping regulations and safety standards.
 - Participate in the negotiation of freight rates and logistics service contracts.
 - Utilize logistics software and systems for planning, tracking, and reporting.
 - Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain.
 
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Logistics Specialist or similar role.
 - In-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.
 - Strong understanding of transportation regulations and customs procedures.
 - Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., ERP systems, TMS).
 - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
 - Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
 - Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
 - Certification in Logistics, such as CSCP or CLTD.
