Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and documentation.
- Accurately store materials in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Perform inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, maintaining accurate inventory records using a warehouse management system.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment, ensuring items are correctly identified, packaged, and labeled.
- Operate various material handling equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (certification preferred).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, contributing to a safe and clean working environment.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper securing of goods for transport.
- Report any damages, defects, or inventory inaccuracies immediately to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proven ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and using warehouse management systems.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift operator certification and experience.
- Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS).
