Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and track inbound and outbound shipments, including domestic and international freight, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Prepare, process, and maintain all necessary shipping documentation, customs forms, and trade compliance records.
- Liaise with suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments to resolve logistics-related issues and ensure seamless operations.
- Utilize logistics software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to monitor shipments, manage inventory, and generate reports.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international shipping regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the logistics workflow.
- Assist in the negotiation of freight rates and service agreements with logistics providers.
- Provide regular updates on shipment status, potential delays, and inventory levels to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support project timelines and material availability.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
