Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing presentations.
- Assist with the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees, including preparing new hire paperwork, coordinating orientation, and managing exit procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems and physical files, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating complex issues to appropriate HR specialists.
- Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and managing applicant tracking systems.
- Coordinate HR-related events, training sessions, and company-wide communications.
- Process HR-related documentation, such as employment verifications, transfers, and performance reviews.
- Assist with payroll data entry and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives, taking on research or organizational tasks as assigned.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of all sensitive employee and company information.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) software.
- Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and HR best practices.
