Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications on aircraft systems and components.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA regulations, company standards, and manufacturer specifications.
- Document all work performed accurately and completely, including discrepancies, corrective actions, and parts used.
- Conduct functional tests and operational checks of aircraft systems to ensure proper performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
- Utilize various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to perform tasks.
Required Skills
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
- Minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals
- Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Boeing aircraft models (commercial or defense)
- Associate’s degree in Aviation Maintenance or related field
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles
- Advanced certifications or specialized training in specific aircraft systems (e.g., avionics, hydraulics)
- Prior experience in a fast-paced MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) environment.
