Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage daily site operations, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of operational staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all company safety protocols, environmental regulations, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Plan, allocate, and manage resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Prepare and submit comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Facilitate effective communication channels between management and site personnel.
  • Participate in incident investigations and implement preventative measures.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 4 years of proven experience in a site supervisory or similar leadership role, preferably in heavy industry, construction, or resource management.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, PMP, Lean Six Sigma).
  • Experience with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Experience in environmental management practices.
