Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control process equipment and systems, ensuring optimal operational performance and adherence to production targets.
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process machinery and instrumentation.
- Identify and diagnose operational issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
- Collect and analyze operational data, contributing to performance reports and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, and other technicians to resolve complex technical challenges and optimize processes.
- Participate in the commissioning and decommissioning of plant equipment and systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, process parameters, and incident reports.
- Assist in the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians and operational staff as required.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Process Technician or similar role in an industrial setting (e.g., manufacturing, energy, chemical, mining).
- Strong understanding of process control systems (e.g., DCS, SCADA) and instrumentation.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, P&IDs, and electrical schematics.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in Process Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in process operations, safety, or instrumentation.
- Experience with SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for maintenance management.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Fluency in Greek and English.
