Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and high performance.
  • Plan, schedule, and execute preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Manage work orders, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee the repair and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Optimize maintenance processes to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to minimize disruptions and support operational goals.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and generate reports on key performance indicators.
  • Manage spare parts inventory and procurement processes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a maintenance team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices (e.g., OSHA, MSHA).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications in specific maintenance disciplines (e.g., CMRP, vibration analysis, thermography).
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies in a maintenance context.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment and industrial machinery.
