Job Description

We are actively seeking a highly skilled, motivated, and safety-conscious Field Operator to join our dedicated team for an immediate start at our operational site in Ingleside, Macon. This pivotal on-site role is essential for maintaining the continuous flow and efficiency of our operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor various processing equipment and systems according to established procedures, including start-up, shut-down, and emergency operations.
  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of plant machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, operational anomalies, or potential safety hazards promptly and accurately.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards, actively participating in safety initiatives.
  • Conduct quality control checks and collect samples for analysis as required, ensuring product specifications are met.
  • Maintain accurate operational logs, shift reports, and other documentation, ensuring all data is recorded correctly.
  • Participate actively in safety meetings, training sessions, and emergency response drills to enhance team preparedness.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve production targets and operational goals.
  • Assist in the startup and shutdown procedures of plant equipment, following strict guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Field Operator or in a similar heavy industrial role (e.g., manufacturing, mining, oil & gas).
  • Proven ability to operate and monitor complex industrial equipment and process control systems.
  • Strong understanding of industrial safety procedures and protocols (e.g., LOTO, confined space, hot work).
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills for equipment faults.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent communication and observational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by operations.
  • Physical ability to perform manual tasks, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant trade certification or vocational training in industrial operations, mechanics, or related fields.
  • Experience with specific mining or processing equipment (e.g., crushers, screens, grinding mills, flotation cells, control room systems).
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry, report generation, and system monitoring (e.g., SCADA/DCS experience).
  • Forklift, aerial lift, or other heavy equipment operation certification.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
