Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Midtown, Athens. This is an immediate hiring opportunity for an individual who is ready to make a significant impact on our operations and projects. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems, components, and equipment for various industrial applications.
- Conduct detailed electrical calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure system performance and reliability.
- Prepare technical specifications, scope of works, and engineering drawings.
- Oversee the installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for operational electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, and process engineers.
- Participate in project planning, risk assessments, and design reviews.
- Identify opportunities for system optimization, energy efficiency, and cost reduction.
- Maintain accurate documentation of electrical designs, modifications, and maintenance records.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in an industrial or resources environment
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN)
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, motor control, and instrumentation systems
- Familiarity with national and international electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant specialization
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Experience with high-voltage systems and protective relaying
- Knowledge of PLC/DCS programming and industrial automation systems
- Prior experience in the mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors
- Proficiency in Greek language
