Key Responsibilities
- Install, connect, test, and maintain Bell Canada's telecommunications equipment and services at customer locations, including internet, TV, and phone lines.
- Perform routine and emergency repairs, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues related to service disruptions, signal quality, and equipment malfunctions.
- Educate customers on the proper use of their new equipment and services, ensuring a clear understanding and providing a positive, informative experience.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards during all field operations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and customers.
- Accurately document all work performed, including installations, repairs, service changes, and customer interactions using company-provided tools and systems.
- Manage and organize company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicle inventory, ensuring all assets are maintained and accounted for.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, dispatch, and supervisors to resolve complex technical challenges, share best practices, and improve overall service delivery.
- Represent Bell Canada professionally and courteously in all customer interactions, upholding our commitment to exceptional service and brand reputation.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Basic understanding of electronics or telecommunications concepts (full training provided).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, and work in various weather conditions.
