Job Description
Are you a passionate and skilled Bartender looking for a dynamic part-time opportunity on weekends? Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants is immediately hiring talented individuals to join our exceptional team in Toronto. We are seeking a Bartender who can craft exquisite cocktails, provide outstanding guest service, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, engaging with guests, and ensuring every drink order is executed with precision and flair. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to O&B recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner, taking beverage orders and offering recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, spirits, mixers, and garnishes.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and handle cash and credit transactions responsibly.
- Ensure compliance with all provincial and company regulations regarding alcohol service (e.g., Smart Serve).
- Monitor guest intoxication levels and ensure responsible alcohol service, refusing service when necessary.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking, rotating, and tracking bar supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure seamless service.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant or bar setting.
- Extensive knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and craft beer.
- Proficiency in operating a Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Valid Smart Serve certification (Ontario).

- Advanced mixology skills and experience with creative cocktail development.
- Experience in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food pairing with various beverages.
