Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including craft beers, cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about our menu.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, spirits, beer taps, and garnishes.
- Process customer orders and payments accurately using a POS system.
- Monitor guest consumption to ensure responsible service of alcohol and adhere to all provincial liquor regulations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash reconciliation, restocking, and cleaning.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow and exceptional guest experiences.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of craft beers, spirits, wine, and classic cocktail recipes.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in using a Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Fluent in French; working knowledge of English is an asset.
- Valid Responsible Alcohol Service certification (e.g., Service in Action/BASICS in Quebec).
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a craft brewery, pub, or high-volume bar setting.
- Advanced knowledge of local Quebec craft beer scene and brewing processes.
- Experience with inventory management and ordering.
