Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, including glassware, bar tools, and ingredients.
- Monitor and manage inventory of bar supplies, spirits, beers, wines, and mixers, reporting shortages.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, operating POS systems.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national regulations regarding alcohol service, including age verification.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, maintaining impeccable hygiene standards.
- Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all guests, resolving any service issues promptly and courteously.
- Collaborate effectively with other bar staff and hotel departments to ensure seamless service.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the bar, including cleaning and restocking.
- Develop new cocktail recipes and suggest improvements to the beverage menu.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Bartender, preferably in a hotel or upscale establishment.
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and classic cocktail recipes.
