As a Teller, you are the face of our financial center, often the first point of contact for our valued customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and cashing checks.
  • Identify customer needs and offer relevant Bank of America products and services, making referrals to specialists as appropriate.
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer by adhering to established cash handling procedures and security protocols.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and issues, providing excellent service and escalating complex situations when necessary.
  • Educate customers on self-service options and digital banking tools.
  • Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and assist colleagues as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 6 months customer service experience (e.g., retail, hospitality, call center).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous cash handling or teller experience in a financial institution.
  • Experience in sales or cross-selling products/services.
  • Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Tagalog) is a plus.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
