Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deepen client relationships by understanding their financial needs and providing personalized advice.
- Create and implement comprehensive financial plans, including investment strategies, retirement planning, and wealth management.
- Proactively identify and cultivate new client prospects through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
- Manage and grow existing client portfolios, regularly reviewing and adjusting strategies to meet evolving goals.
- Educate clients on various financial products and services offered by Bank of America and Merrill.
- Stay current with market trends, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
- Adhere strictly to all compliance and regulatory requirements, maintaining a high ethical standard.
- Collaborate with internal partners across banking and lending to provide integrated financial solutions.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial services, sales, or a related client-facing role.
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 (or Series 63 & 65) licenses required; must be obtained within 120 days of hire if not currently held.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales and service goals.
- High degree of integrity and ethical conduct.
- Proficiency with financial planning software and CRM systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation or willingness to pursue.
- Experience working with high-net-worth clients.
- Active involvement in community organizations or professional networks.
