Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Batch Records.
- Perform in-process checks, sample collection, and document all manufacturing activities accurately and legibly.
- Execute minor equipment troubleshooting and preventative maintenance tasks as required to ensure operational continuity.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment, ensuring strict adherence to cGMP regulations and safety standards.
- Support investigations into deviations, non-conformances, and quality incidents, implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in material handling, inventory management, and preparation of components for production batches.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and cross-functional departments to achieve production targets and maintain product quality.
- Participate actively in training and development activities to enhance skills, knowledge, and operational proficiency.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing manufacturing processes and reducing waste.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or a related highly regulated industry.
- Strong understanding and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.
- Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow complex written procedures and instructions.
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic, computer usage, and accurate data entry.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong observational skills, and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks in a controlled environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific, technical, or engineering discipline.
- Experience with automated manufacturing systems, process control software, or SCADA systems.
- Forklift operation certification or prior experience in operating material handling equipment.
- Proven track record of problem-solving, process improvement, and initiative taking.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma principles, or other operational excellence methodologies.
