As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be responsible for executing various stages of the pharmaceutical manufacturing process, ensuring all operations are performed efficiently, safely, and in strict accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and processes according to established SOPs and GMP guidelines.
- Perform in-process checks and document all manufacturing activities accurately and legibly.
- Execute minor equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, escalating complex issues to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare, clean, and sterilize equipment and work areas to maintain aseptic conditions where required.
- Monitor inventory of raw materials and finished products, assisting with material handling and logistics.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous operational excellence.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality assurance personnel.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to attendance and conduct.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in pharmaceuticals, food & beverage, or a similarly regulated industry.
- Strong understanding and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry and system navigation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technical field.
- Experience in aseptic manufacturing or cleanroom environments.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
- Forklift certification or experience with powered industrial trucks.
- Prior experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
