Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access points (gates, entrances) to the estate, ensuring only authorized individuals and vehicles enter.
- Conduct regular patrols of the estate grounds, perimeter, and common areas to detect and prevent security breaches.
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents, following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, incident reports, and visitor records.
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems and other security equipment.
- Enforce estate rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and orderly environment for residents.
- Liaise effectively with residents, visitors, and emergency services when required.
- Report any suspicious activities, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities or management.
- Provide a visible and reassuring security presence.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in security operations, preferably in a residential or gated community setting.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of security procedures and protocols.
- Physical fitness and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and vigilance.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Possession of a valid security training certificate (e.g., from a recognized security institute).
- Experience with CCTV monitoring systems and access control technologies.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Prior experience in customer service roles.
- Basic computer literacy for report writing.
