Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Cook to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will assist the Head Chef in preparing high-quality meals for our guests and staff, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and adhering to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. This position offers comfortable staff housing as a significant benefit. Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of food preparation and cooking.
  • Preparing ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Following established recipes and portion control guidelines.
  • Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as an assistant cook or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary principles.
  • Excellent knife skills and ability to handle various cooking equipment.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to food hygiene standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
