Key Responsibilities

  • Execute the assembly of window and door components (e.g., frames, sashes, glass units, hardware) according to specifications and work orders.
  • Operate various hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct quality checks on assembled units and individual components to ensure adherence to Starline's stringent quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and production instructions accurately.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and schedules.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues to the appropriate personnel immediately.
  • Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading of components as required.

Required Skills

  • Basic proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions and production diagrams.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
