Key Responsibilities
- Assemble components according to specifications, blueprints, and verbal instructions with high accuracy.
- Operate various hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform thorough quality checks on assembled parts and finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Identify and report any defects, malfunctions, or issues with components, equipment, or assembly processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, strictly adhering to 5S principles and workplace safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety protocols, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Assist with inventory management by accurately tracking parts and materials used during the assembly process.
- Participate actively in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and efficiency.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical instructions, blueprints, or assembly diagrams.
- Proficiency in using various hand tools and basic power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic team in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic understanding and adherence to manufacturing safety protocols.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent.
- Previous experience (6 months or more) in an assembly, production, or manufacturing role.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, such as 5S methodology.
- Experience with quality control processes and basic fault reporting.
