Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Artist Relations Manager to join The Sound Lab team. As our Artist Relations Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for our roster of talented artists, acting as their advocate, guide, and collaborator. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between artists and The Sound Lab Recording Studio, ensuring clear communication and strong relationships.
- Manage and oversee artist project timelines, from recording sessions and mixing to mastering and final delivery.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive artist profiles, tracking their progress, needs, and career goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, production, marketing) to ensure artists receive top-tier service and support.
- Assist artists in developing strategic career plans, identifying opportunities for growth and exposure.
- Facilitate and coordinate artist appearances, promotional activities, and industry events.
- Address artist concerns and feedback promptly and effectively, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Identify and cultivate new artist talent, contributing to the expansion of our artist roster.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market changes, and emerging technologies relevant to artist development and music distribution.
- Negotiate and manage artist agreements, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in artist relations, talent management, or A&R within the music industry.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Deep understanding of the music production process, from recording to distribution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar productivity tools.
