Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and organize all incoming demo submissions, ensuring proper logging, screening, and distribution to A&R executives.
  • Facilitate communication between artists, management, producers, and internal Atlantic Records departments.
  • Maintain detailed project tracking sheets for artists in development, recording sessions, and release schedules.
  • Coordinate studio sessions, travel arrangements, and other logistics for A&R executives and artists as needed.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis, staying abreast of new music, artists, producers, and industry trends.
  • Assist in the preparation of A&R reports, budgets, and presentations.
  • Attend showcases, live performances, and industry events to scout for new talent.
  • Liaise with legal and business affairs teams on artist contracts and agreements.
  • Provide administrative support to the A&R team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and processing expenses.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and creative discussions regarding artist development and marketing strategies.

Required Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in the music industry (record label, management, publishing, or related field).
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Deep knowledge of current music genres, artists, and industry trends.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated passion for music and artist development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Entertainment Management, Communications, or a related field.
