Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive research on emerging artists, songwriters, and producers across various genres, analyzing trends and potential for Warner Music Canada's roster.
  • Manage and organize demo submissions, maintaining a systematic database for tracking, reviewing, and providing initial feedback.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the A&R team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, managing travel arrangements, and processing expenses.
  • Assist with the coordination of recording sessions, songwriting camps, video shoots, and promotional events, ensuring smooth logistics and adherence to timelines.
  • Prepare and distribute A&R reports, market analyses, and competitive landscape overviews to inform strategic decisions.
  • Liaise effectively with artists, management, legal teams, producers, and other internal departments to facilitate projects and ensure seamless communication.
  • Attend live shows, showcases, and industry events (both virtually and in-person) to scout new talent, build professional networks, and stay abreast of industry developments.

Required Skills

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably in a fast-paced entertainment or creative environment.
