Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively scout and identify emerging country and roots music artists through live performances, online platforms, and industry networks.
  • Manage and organize demo submissions, providing initial screening and detailed feedback.
  • Assist in the coordination and scheduling of recording sessions, mixing, and mastering processes.
  • Maintain comprehensive artist databases, tracking project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Conduct research on musical trends, competitor releases, and potential collaboration opportunities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on prospective artists and project developments for the A&R team.
  • Support artists with administrative needs, including travel arrangements and scheduling.
  • Attend live showcases, industry events, and concerts to discover talent and network.
  • Collaborate with marketing, publicity, and distribution teams to ensure cohesive project rollouts.
  • Assist in contract preparation and negotiation support for new artist signings.

Required Skills

  • Proven passion and in-depth knowledge of country, Americana, and roots music genres.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
