Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Manage inventory levels, track stock movement, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, production, sales) and external partners (e.g., carriers, suppliers) to optimize logistics processes.
- Utilize advanced logistics software and systems to track shipments, analyze data, and generate reports.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
- Resolve shipping and inventory-related issues, including delays, damages, and documentation discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.
- Prepare and review logistics documentation, such as bills of lading, customs declarations, and shipping manifests.
- Participate in the planning and execution of new product launches and supply chain initiatives.
- Provide regular updates and performance reports to management on logistics operations.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations management.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effective collaboration across diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
